Victoria Turner, CEO of Activate Accident Repair and CCO of Activate Group has announced her membership of the Automotive 30% Club
The voluntary network of motor industry leaders aims to improve gender balance within the industry with a goal of filling at least 30% of automotive leadership positions with diverse women by 2030.
Open minded culture
Turner said: “Joining the Automotive 30% Club is just one part of our plan to further develop the inclusive, open-minded culture across the business.
“We are currently building a repair solution across the UK which places us in a great position to challenge existing ways of doing things and strive for greater diversity within our team.”
Activate Accident Repair, part of Activate Group, opened its first body shop in Birmingham in 2019 and now has four purpose-built repair centres located in urban areas up and down the country.
Opening centers in rapid succession
The business has ambitious plans to open more centres in rapid succession and is currently developing an apprenticeship programme that will showcase repair industry careers to a diverse range of candidates.
Julia Muir, Founder of the Automotive 30% Club said: “I’m really pleased to welcome Victoria Turner, CEO of Activate Accident Repair and CCO of the Activate Group, to the Automotive 30% Club. Activate Accident Repair is on a rapid growth trajectory and has the opportunity to build an inclusive culture as it expands, and Victoria will be a valuable addition to our increasing number of accident repair members. I shall look forward to sharing ideas and innovations as we work to build a better gender-balance in this important part of the motor trade.”
