Activate Accident Repair has hit the latest milestone in its £15 million expansion plan with the opening of its fourth body shop.
Opened in May, the new Warrington site is the business’ largest repair centre to date at 24,000 ft2 with the capacity to repair up to 18 vehicles a day.
Purpose built with the latest technology
Like all Activate Accident Repair sites, it is purpose-built and equipped with the latest technology, including the ability to repair structural composite materials, all safety features, EVs and HEVs.
The business is part of Activate Group Ltd, a group of companies that includes Motor Repair Network, sopp+sopp and Activate Parts.
The Group’s own chain of body shops works alongside its approved network of 200 repairers to service hundreds of thousands of claims a year for its fleet and insurance clients.
An ambitious growth plan
The opening of the new repair centre in Warrington is part of an ambitious growth plan that will see Activate Accident Repair open state-of-the-art body shops in urban areas where customers need them most.
Victoria Turner, CEO of Activate Accident Repair said: “We plan to open 15 new repair centres across the UK over the next 12 months, and have a thorough process in place to ensure that each site meets our exceptionally high operating standards.
“For me it’s important that, as well as investing in the best technology, we also invest in our people, with great on-site facilities, training and support. We’ve gradually built up the volume of vehicle repairs at Warrington to allow time for the new team to complete a full induction programme focused on service, efficiency and safety.
“The centre is now fully operational and ready to deliver fast, high-quality repairs for its customers.”
