Activate Accident Repair has demonstrated its commitment to safe, high-quality repairs by gaining the updated Vehicle Damage Repair Kitemark (BS 10125:2022) across all nine of its bodyshops.
The British Standard is a respected mark of quality. To achieve it, repairers must show they have the technical competence, management systems and procedures in place to operate and perform repairs to the highest standards.
In 2022, the kitemark standards were revised to reflect new vehicle connectivity, safety and powertrain technologies in the automotive repair process. Activate Accident Repair has gained the updated accreditation following a series of robust, independent audits across each of its sites.
Part of Activate Group, Activate Accident Repair opened its first centre in 2019. The business has grown by investing in purpose-built repair centres with best-quality equipment and training, and the capability to repair the latest vehicle technology.
Hannah Wilcox, CEO of Activate Group said: “I’m incredibly proud of the teams at each and every one of our repair centres for achieving this accreditation.
“The external audit is a demanding process that requires each site to demonstrate its commitment to best practice, professional development, and safety and quality checks.
“Our repair centres have built a strong reputation across the fleet and insurance industries, and the Vehicle Damage Repair Kitemark really demonstrates that we’re dedicated to delivering consistently safe, high-quality repairs for our customers.”
